I got Gordon Browns letter today, and I was impressed.

He sounded like a leader. Especially when compared with David Cameran's letter which sounded pleading and petty, Gordon put forward some clear hopes and vision and said that it would be hard work. Good on him.

Hopefully our local candidates will follow suit and stop making most of their letters about over parties.
